Lucerne has the financial strength to provide growth capital for our portfolio companies allowing them to achieve their long-term strategic goals. Unlike many traditional investment funds which have a five year time horizon or less, we have a long term investment strategy focusing our efforts on growth and building our portfolio companies with no pre-determined time horizons for exiting. 

We believe that future value creation occurs when there is the appropriate alignment of interests and a clear operating and strategic plan. Our goal is not only to be an investment partner but also a sounding board for operational management. Unlike most private equity firms, the principals of Lucerne have significant management and operational expertise providing more than just a funding source and structuring for growth companies. Our goal is to execute transactions in which principals, customers and employees all believe they were treated with integrity and respect and would not question recommending our firm to others.

Our investment strategy is focused upon using a defined investment approach. We seek to invest in companies that possess certain strengths: scalability, sustainable competitive advantage, sound management and history of stable cash flows. At the same time, given our strong operational backgrounds we evaluate and consider underperforming businesses and asset classes.
