Benjamin Johns

Mr. Johns is Chief Executive Officer of Lucerne, a Columbus, Ohio, based private investment firm. Prior to his role at Lucerne, Mr. Johns served as Chief Operating Officer for Carriage Court Communities Inc. He was responsible for managing all operations including quality assurance, operations, sales, marketing and finance as well as the company’s external development including mergers and acquisitions. He also served on the Senior Operations Committee for the National Assisted Living Federation of America which is composed of 15 senior level executives from the largest private and public firms.

Previous to Carriage Court Communities, Mr. Johns was with Cardinal Health Inc, a global provider of products and services supporting the health care industry, employing approximately 50,000 employees on five continents, with annual revenues in excess of $81 billion. Mr. Johns graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College.
